Markets Media Group is delighted to announce the winners of the fourth annual
EUROPEAN WOMEN IN FINANCE AWARDS

Building on the foundation of Markets Media’s established and very successful Markets Choice Awards franchise, as well as annual Women in Finance Awards events in New York and Hong Kong, the European Women in Finance programme was launched in 2020 to recognize the most talented and accomplished women across the business of finance: buy-side and sell-side trading desks, institutional investment firms, wealth managers, securities exchanges, technology providers, corporate finance, venture capital firms, start-ups — really, any area within the financial sector. In addition to the  Awards, we also have an ongoing programme of raising awareness through a series on one-to-one interviews with women in finance in Europe which are hosted on BestExecution.net*.

Nominees are first put forward by readers of Markets Media’s London-based editorial platforms, Best Execution and The DESK. Shortlists and winners are determined by the editorial staff of the two platforms, in conjunction with the EWIF Advisory Board, which spans senior leaders and decision makers across multiple areas of financial services.

As with our other award programmes, the methodology for the European Women in Finance Awards is simple yet thorough, and keeps the focus on the important opinions: those of market participants, not ours. Award categories open for nominations will include Excellence in Leadership, Buy-Side Trader of the Year, Rising Star, Trailblazer, Disruptor of the Year, CEO of the Year, Lifetime Achievement, and the Instinet Positive Impact Award.
